Our little guy of 8.5 years had to be put down. It was heartbreaking but we were so lucky to have him in our lives for as long as we did. The poor guy had his share of back, hip, and digestive issues, but he had the best disposition ever! Thanks for being such a good boy Nappie! 
His last walk on the Wednesday he actually perked up. I was so happy, then so sad the following morning when he was back to being sick again. :(
