Happy Easter!
We had a very nice Easter. The Easter bunny stopped by and brought Claire a few toys. Then we went to church with Grammie, Papo and Aunt Jill at Grace. Allie slept through the entire service (which was over an hour) and Claire did great for the first 45 minutes. After that, we went to Grammie and Papo's house where the Welke's met us and we had some great food and fun!

We tried to get Claire in this pic, but she wanted to play with Maddie instead. As many times as we tried, we were unable to get a pic of our family of four. Maybe next time!

Easter eggs
Maddie, Claire, and Ethan dyed some Easter eggs! The kids did a great job. Maddie and Claire both attempted to drink the cups with dye, but we caught them in time! Kinda gross!

GG's in town!
We had the pleasure of seeing Grandpa and Grandma Ord last night. Here are the girls with GG Laverne.
Claire playing with her new purses and her GG Harold.

GG gave the girls a fun Easter basket.
More Easter presents! Pamma got the girls beautiful outfits with a matching hat and purse! Claire kept her hat on, go figure! They also got Easter baskets. Claire got Cinderella and Allie got Winnie the Pooh.

Claire keeping us entertained! GG made Claire and Allie a very special lamb cake out of Rice Crispies. She always made her Grandkids this special treat every Easter. Now she is treating her Great Grandchildren to the same special tradition! It is so sweet of her!

I'm a little excited in this, but it's cute to see how Claire holds her own with the bigger kids!
Easter Egg Hunt!
After the hunt, the Welkes came over and Claire, Maddie, and Allie found a comfy spot on the couch!

Claire wears her hat all around the house, so when Maddie came over, she wanted one too!
Determined to open her eggs! She got 11 eggs entirely on her own! I was proud of her!
Maddie did great too! She had somewhere around 25-30 eggs.
The hunt is over, look at those full buckets! They had fun and did a great job finding eggs.
Before the hunt and ready to go and get some eggs! Claire was super excited to see that Maddie was there and they hunted for eggs together at first. When we got separated during the hunt, Claire kept saying, "Maddie" and was not interested in finding eggs anymore!
Pondering a good strategy!

We did lots of fun stuff with Great Grandma. She came to storytime, went to the River Trails nature center, took a couple of walks, went to the park, and had a nice lunch and dinner out. It was nice to spend time with her and she was very good with Allie.

Claire and Allie spent a couple of nights with Grammie and Papo, followed by a few nights with Pamma and Dennis while Matt and I were at Secrets St. James in Montego Bay. Funny thing is, the only pics that we took were of us doing the canopy zipline tour! There were 12 lines, with the one pictured that went vertically.

Claire's FIRST HAIRCUT!
Below is a BEFORE picture. As you can tell, it's looking a bit crazy and uneven.
We went to Pigtails & Crewcuts in the Glen. Claire decided to sit on the airplane chair.
How appropriate that a fellow red head cut her hair!
After shot! She didn't cut off very much, but it looks cleaner. Claire didn't cry, but said "All done" about halfway through the very quick cut!
Picking out a toy from the treasure chest with Grammie on the way out. She ended up with a pinwheel.
