Superbowl

We had our tradition of watching the Superbowl with the Welkes.  Most of us were rooting for the Broncos, so the turnout wasn't great but we had fun anyway!
We brought the party downstairs to let the kids dance to the halftime show.
Allie dressed up in her tiger costume.  She is a nut.
 Jamming with Bruno Mars!

Singing at church

The kids did a great job singing!  Allie did not repeat her performance from last time, which was a relief.  The one song has a part when only the boys sing, followed by a part when it's just the girls.  You can see Claire letting Allie know that she is not suppose to be singing when it's the boys part. The girl part is pretty much a Maddie and Claire duet.  So sweet.  Allie does chime in from time to time and she is quite serious when she sings.  It was cracking us up!
Here is the link to the performance:

After church, the girls love to get some goodies!  Well deserved ladies!

Exploratorium

The kids were off of school due to the extreme cold, so we headed to Skokie for a day of fun. We don't let the cold stop us from having fun!   Snow is another story, we don't hit the roads unless they are safe!  :)
Allie loved the light up pegs.  It reminds me of my favorite toy growing up, my Lite Bright.  I may have to get one for Allie (and me)!
Climbing girls.  The Welke's joined us and all of the kids played for a long time in the cool tunnels.  The jungle gym here is awesome and huge!
Sweet Clairey looking pretty in pink.  I think it's her color!

Disney On Ice

This is the third year of going to Disney on Ice!  This year we headed to the All State arena in Rosemont instead of the United Center.  It was a great way to spend the cold day and the kids enjoyed it.
Emmie liked it too!  She's three months and adorable!
 Girls!
Dane on Daddy and Emmie on Dane!
 BYE!

15 weeks pregnant!

We are excited to add a new member to our family!  The due date is July 24, 2014.  I felt really nauseous throughout the first trimester.  The double ear infection and sinus infection on top of it didn't help things!  Fortunately, the baby looks healthy and I'm feeling good again!  We will be finding out the sex in a month, so stay tuned!
