Mother's Day

We had a nice brunch in Long Grove with Pamma, Grandpa, Greg and Mary!

Back at home and surrounded by my sweethearts! 

Bugs: Butterflies and ants!

 The ants are in the test tube and ready to be placed in their new home!

 So excited!

 Allie loves Emmie, but the feeling isn't always mutual!  Allie can be a little too much for Emmie!

 Every time a butterfly flew out, all of the kids would clap and cheer.  It was super sweet.  One of our butterflies built its chrysalis in the wrong spot and therefore when it hatched, it was stuck to the bottom of the habitat.  We freed it, but it only had one wing.  It was actually a really good lesson about how the butterfly was born different.  The girls were very concerned and sweet about it and they took extra good care of our friend!

Charlie month 8 and 9

Around 9 months Charles started to crawl and he is also standing in his crib!  

This guy loves his walker!  His sisters do as well!

 Bath time!  What a cute puppy!  That towel really brings out his eyes!

 Charlie is a good eater!  He ate a lot of guacamole this month.  He doesn't take it as well anymore, but he was a garlicky boy when he ate it!

 We've had some cold May days!  We bundle up and get some fresh air regardless.

Last Day of gymnastics in April

The Welke's and Newton's had their private (we lucked out!) gymnastics classes with Coach Cathy!  They loved it!
