Sweet Claire Bear

Claire spent at least an hour working on coloring, cutting, and folding up pictures from her Disney magazine. She told Matt and me that she was working so hard so that Daddy wouldn't have to go to work. It was so sweet! I love that she wants to take care of us!

A four kids! Allie, Claire, Aubriana and Hunter. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals, playing in the barn and having a picnic. I'm officially caught up with this blog as we went there today!

Colorado for Lyssie's graduation party

Allie loves her Uncle Cayle! He was so amazing with her. They loved looking for the pretty rocks in the back yard.

The graduate! Congratulations Lyssie! We were so happy to be able to celebrate at Lyssie's graduation party. Claire was excited to find another 3 1/2 year old at the party. They were good helpers when it came to opening gifts and cards!

The girls love their Aunt Lyssie! We wish her well as she heads off to Northern Colorado in the fall!

Grammie's send off!

Since Grammie will be in Europe for both Mother's Day and her birthday, we had a little fiesta to celebrate her! We also watched the Kentucky Derby. Matt's (Newton) horse won, though he picked the one with the best odds! Doesn't he know that you're suppose to pick based on the name, number, or story?

Brookfield Zoo

We got a season pass, so we should get there a lot this summer! The animals were all pretty sleepy when we went. It was a Monday after all!

I dress them brightly for most of our outings to make it easier to spot them. Most of the time, they are very good about staying close to mom and one another.

Yu Kids Island

The girls had a fun time! After they played we met Daddy for lunch at the Olive Garden.

Allie picked a turtle and Claire picked a cat to paint. They also got to pick six colors. Claire's were basically all purples and pinks!

The big recital is this weekend! The parents and siblings were invite to watch their rehearsal. It's adorable. I can tell that Claire works very hard to get her movements exact!

Allie adores Daney! Allie's shirt is all wet because she loves to drink from the water fountain.

Preschool Sunday

Allie decided to stand with the kids during the rehearsal. Claire always puts on a good show!

Easter in Long Grove

We love getting to see the GG's! We had a great time celebrating with everyone! The girls enjoyed hunting for eggs with their cousin William! I wish that we would have gotten some family shots. It's hard to stop and take pictures when everyone is too busy having fun!

The girls loved coloring Easter eggs! Claire will eat the yolk of the hard boiled eggs and Nappie enjoys the rest. Ever since we made them, she no longer accepts just a plain white egg.
