Betta Fish!

We finally did it!  Grammie had some supplies and she went with us to the pet store.  Claire picked out a blue one and Allie picked a red one.  As of right now, Claire's is named Sunshine and Allie's is named Rainbow.  These things can change, but that's the deal for now!  We plan to transfer them into their "real" habitats tomorrow!

Charlie- 1 month!

How is this precious baby 1 month old?!  Here he is sporting his old man hair look!  He is eating like a champ and wakes up on average twice a night for feedings.  At his 1 month appointment he weighed 10# 6 oz. (66%tile) and was 22.5" long (93%tile) and his head circ.was 37 cm. (56th %tile).  I think that he resembles Claire as a baby, and a few other people have made that same comment to me.  He is starting to become more vocal and smiles and I just can't stand it! So precious!

Below is baby Claire at the same age.  It's pretty obvious, but she's the baby on the left.  

 Allie loving on her brother.  She can be a little rough, but generally tries to be a good sister.  She did mention to me that I could get a different one since he cries a lot.

 Claire had to join the group!  Claire is one sweet sister and Charlie loves to stare at her!  She is very nurturing and loving towards him.

Emmie's baptism

Emerson was hysterical as she pushed away the pastors hands from her head and grabbed the paper out of her hand!  The pastor had a hard time not laughing too!  We took this picture after the service of everyone with their Godchild, which is why we are with Dane!

Aunt Lyssie and Granby's visit

Lyssie spent nearly a week with us and the kids didn't want to let her go!  Granby was able to come for a couple of days after her trip to Germany!

Claire is 5!

On Claire's birthday, she had her very first mani and pedi with me!  She was super quiet and I could not tell what she was thinking.  She told me she thought it was pretty good, but since then, has been asking to go again!  I don't plan to make this a habit!

 We celebrated that evening at the Welke's house.  The Babbitt family and Aunt Pam were in town from Louisville, so that was a super fun treat!  We hung out and went to the concert in the park.

 The girls were thrilled that they were able to get their faces painted at the concert.

Charlie

I tried to take some cute shots but I failed, it's harder than it looks!  He kept crying and putting his hands on his face  Time to call in the professionals!  This is the only one that isn't obstructed!

Charlie's first walk-8 days old

It is so fun to have a baby when it's nice out!  I am also grateful for feeling so good and that this baby is a sleeper!  Most nights, he only wakes us up one time to eat (I better not have jinxed myself)!  Thanks Charlie!

1 week old

My precious boy is 1 week old!  Everything checked out fine and he weighed 7# 11 oz.
