Happy 2nd Birthday Charlie!!!

Charlie is the cutest little stinker in the world.  He is so funny and so smart and makes us laugh constantly.  Allie is his best buddy in the world and he often asks for her when he wakes up from his nap.  He is an excellent sleeper and always takes an afternoon nap.  He is musical and knows the words to many songs.  His favorites are Fight Song by Rachel Platten, Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett, Boom Clap by Charli XCX, House Party by Sam Hunt and Snap Back by Old Dominion.  If we try to play a toddler CD or Laurie Berkner, which the girls loves, he makes us turn it off!  He can hear a couple of notes and immediately tell us what song is about to come on.  He talks A LOT and people often comment on it.  He likes to scooter on the driveway with his sisters and eat popsicles.  His favorite books are his Thomas Books, but he also like Purdue Pete and If I Were a Hippo a lot too.  He loves choo choo trains and always wants to watch Bob the Train videos on YouTube.  He also likes video footage of the ten biggest airplanes in the world.  He is a picky eater like Allie and LOVES Mac N Cheese above all else.  He likes "cereal with milk in it" and requests it quite often.  He also likes his Danimals and yogurt.  He still pulls hair when he gets frustrated and throws his food all over the place if he doesn't like it.  He says hello to everyone that we encounter, which is always funny.  He sure gets noticed at the store and has been know to cause quite a fit.  If he's not throwing a fit, then he's usually being told how cute and polite he is.  He's always saying please and thank you.  He likes Thomas, Mickey Mouse, and Paw Patrol.  He asks for Momma and Dadda hugs and Matt and I always have to give in to his requests!  He hugs his sisters a lot before bed as well!  People are always telling us how much he looks like a mini Matt, and we agree!  He's such a blessing and makes our lives so full and definitely busy!

Fun family shots from summer

Charlie is one train obsessed dude!

At Delightful Pastry with Grammie after an eventful city market experience!  The kids were a little wound up that morning!

Pancake dinner with Joey and Bella
Bagels on the bench with the Welkes.  Bagels and the library have always been a tradition!
 Oh Allie...

Charlie the farmer boy in Papo's garden
 He loves it!

William is here!

It's no secret that this family adores William.  He slept over one night before camp started and we made s'mores.  We had a great time at the MSI that day too.  The kids all attended camp at Pamma's country club Tues-Fri together and had tons of fun at camp Pamma's too!
 The LEGO exhibit was cool

Choo choo Charlie couldn't get enough of the trains!  So cute to see!
Getting food for all was a little stressful for me, but thankfully William was an awesome helper.
Charlie loved watching this pinball type of thing in the cafe.

Popsicles and painted lady butterflies

We usually spend the late afternoon on the drive way with a popsicle.  Claire loves to rollerblade and has improved so much this summer.

 Painted ladies

 S
So fun to set them free and watch them fly!  We cheer for each one!

Claire is such a bug girl and nature lover!  I believe this was taken after one landed on her before it flew away.

July 4th boat parade and fireworks

We had our boat decorated for the boat parade and the kids had their faces painted like animals.  Claire was the artist for our "Barn in the USA" boat!  Amelia was a lamb and Ben was a cow.
 Allie the tiger

Not a fan of the noise, per usual!
Allie's expression here is so her!  My little cautious girl!
 Our neighbor, Mr. Chris...

Note Allie far behind the others!

The lanterns were fun to observe.  Some made it, while others took a swim!
