Charlie-3.5 months

My little babe is getting so big!  He amazes us with how observant he is.  He talks non-stop, giggles, smiles and recently has become a drooler!  Starting at around 2 months, when he really cries, it sounds like he is saying "Mom" or "Mama" and even though I don't think it is intentional, it makes me feel good!  I am trying to record it because it's pretty funny.  The momma cry means that he is hungry!  He is a good sleeper, and goes to sleep around 7 pm.  He usually wakes sometime in the early morning for a feeding, but once in a blue moon he will sleep all the way until 6 am or so.  He loves to "stand" when we hold him and he has been doing that for a while now.  He rolled over (front to back) at 3 months and 1 week.  He is still sleeping in my room, but we plan to move him to the crib and his own room this week, though I'm not sure that I'm ready for that!  Charlie likes to hang out in his swing and "talk" to the figures on it. He usually falls asleep in his baby carrier when we go on walks or drive around.  He goes back to the MD for his 4 month appt (they don't schedule one at 3 months) in a couple of weeks.  He is now big enough for the bumbo chair and can go in the jumper for a few minutes.  I can't get enough of my little Charlie!

Sweet and Kind kiddos!

50's day for the 50th day of Kindergarten!

I received a wonderful compliment from one of the parents today.  She told me that her son commented that Claire and Maddie are the only girls in the class that are nice to him.  She mentioned that some kids, the girls in particular, are mean to him and that he's very sensitive.  We are proud of our girls for treating others kindly.

Charlie in his jumper!

He is such a strong boy!

Halloween

Queen Elsa, the costume of 2014!

 Claire the cheerleader
 The kiddo's
Halloween night at the Welke's.  Charlie changed into a caterpillar outfit that Claire wore as a baby!  Claire insisted that I wear the kitty ears, so I obliged!

Claire, Maddie and Allie went trick-or-treating with the dads despite the frigid temps!  Dane decided to stay back with the ladies and babies!
 Charlie and Emerson
Michael Jackson always visits on Halloween.  The kids try to prove that it's Uncle Matt, but he insists that it's not him.  It's become a funny part of the night that the kids have come to enjoy!
The young ones don't usually enjoy him!

Candid shot of the sweet sisters.
Group shot.  It was a great Halloween, the kids had a blast, and we did too!

The kids had a dance party and took a ride on Matt's leg.

Halloween party at preschool

 Three Elsa's!
 Allie leading the parade!
 Pumpkin peek-a-boo!

Bye!  They are going back into school for their party!  It was a chilly day so a 2 minute parade was appropriate!

Goebbert's Fall Festival

Girls on the camel!  It made me nervous, but they enjoyed it!
Charlie is so good on our adventures!
Claire talking Allie down the slide!

The corn box was so much fun!
The girls could have spent hours in there!
I am still finding kernels of corn in my car!

Halloween party at HWCC

Now if the girls hear that we are going to the HWCC, they want to golf!
They love to take the golf cart for a spin with Pamma.
Claire got the biggest pumpkin and really wanted to carry it by herself!
Allie is into smaller pumpkins!  She thinks that the small baby pumpkins are so cute :).

Sisters tearing up the dance floor!

 Charlie was a superman baby!
Pass the baby, take a picture!

Ice cream time!  Another tradition at HWCC meals!
Claire was in her own world as she danced.  Allie preferred to dance with mom.

October fall fun

Dad found a furry friend on the golf course!  Claire was so excited to get a Halloween caterpillar!
 She named it Trickor
