A VERY special hat!

I was organizing a closet and Claire came across this very special hat. She wore it around the house until I made her take it off when we went outside. It was Matt's hat that his Grandma Laverne made for him when he was a young boy. How sweet! Does it look familiar GG?

Father's Day

We had a nice Father's Day. We started the day off eating Matt's breakfast of choice (waffles and a smoothie) and opening presents. Then we went to Jill's with Grammie and Papo in the late afternoon. It was a hot day, but Claire is looking so stylish!

Yesterday, Allie's bottom right tooth popped through. She's getting to be such a big girl!

1st backyard pool day this summer

Claire saw her pool set up and jumped right in, clothes, shoes, and all! I just went with it and she had a great time!

Claire's big day!

She spent 1 hour at the park district daycare while I did a mom and infant class with Allie. Apparently she cried for the first 50 minutes even though her friend Aubriana and cousin Maddie were there also! On a side note, when we came home, she went potty on the toilet and she was sooo proud of herself. All day she kept saying that she used Momma's potty! She was such a good girl today, I didn't want to put her down to sleep tonight!

The girls, dog, and I went to the park today (it was only 60 degrees) and I put Allie in the swing for the first time. I know that she's done it before with Grammie and Papo, but this was my first time seeing her in it! Note little Napoleon sitting in the corner. He is such a good boy!
