Potty time again!

Claire has been more interested in using the potty lately. I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with seeing Maddie use the potty and wear big girl undies. Today, she went potty and got her "potty star" sticker and a few M & M's. It's time for serious potty training! Oh boy! (These pics were taken right before nap time and you call tell by how tired she looks.)




Her little top is one that I purchased when Matt and I lived in Paris! It finally fits her! (It says it's a size 3 J) I guess that I knew that I'd always have a little girl!

Our 2nd annual Applefest in Lincoln Square

We ate some great apple pie, enjoyed the free samples of gelato (especially Claire), listened to the Wiggle Worm performance, and the the kids played some fun games! Claire was sporting her cute bear hat that Pamma and G-pa Dennis brought back from Alaska. It was a chilly day and we got rained on for a bit, but we still had a fun time!

Allie 9 months

Allie has changed a ton this past month. She is crawling all over the place! She has been saying "Momma" a bunch, well actually more like "Ma Ma Ma" over and over! She is into everything that she shouldn't be into, like cords and electrical outlets, as well as pulling on Claire's hair. Needless to say, she keeps me busy! She is determined and knows what she wants. She is also really easy to get a smile from, which is the opposite of Claire at her age, who wouldn't ever smile at a stranger!

Claire was not happy about putting on her dance outfit! She enjoyed the class and participated well. Here she is showing me her "dance" hands and looking like such a big girl! She is changing every day!

First day of school pics

Claire's first day of school!

Claire and Maddie had their first day of "2's on the move" today. I dropped off Claire and she literally cut in front of the other kids and went right in. She didn't even look back or say bye to me! When I went to pick her and Maddie up, I was surprised to see Claire standing next to the teacher facing all of the kids (like the teachers little helper) doing the songs. I was totally cracking up, I think the other moms think I'm nuts, but it was really funny!

Claire's Labor Day of Fun!

We had the best time at the Hawthorne Woods Country Club. They had a cute carnival set up for the kids and Claire got to ride the ponies, jump in the bounce house, and play games. We also enjoyed a tasty lunch, thanks Pamma and Grandpa!
