Easter celebrations

On Saturday, we celebrated in Mt. Prospect.  On Sunday, we headed to Long Grove.  What a great way to celebrate Easter with the people we love.

Aunt Jill joined us for the fun.  She took Allie to see all of the animals in the petting zoo.  They had  little lambs that were so precious, I would've taken one home if they let me!

GG's treat!

It has been a tradition for GG to make a Rice Crispy lamb for her grandkids at Easter.  Now the delicious tradition continues for her great-grandkids!  Claire and Allie love it, and when it's time to stop eating it, Claire says that the lambie has to go to sleep!

For some reason, this cracked me up!!  They are both at such amazingly fun ages (16 months and 2 1/2).  We have so much fun together!  We always say to one another that we are all best friends!

Great Grandparents

We took a quick trip last weekend to St. Louis since Great Grandpa hasn't been feeling well and we really wanted to see him and Great Grandma.  We had a really nice visit and were happy to bring some cheer!
