Claire's first time singing in the church choir!

She has been going to choir practice every Wednesday night for the past month at the church where she goes to preschool.  She loves it!  Here she is practicing with the kids prior to the service.  She did awesome!  It isn't shown here, but when the true performance came, she was doing shoulder shrugs like crazy and my mom and I were trying to contain our laughter.  She looks like such a peanut next to the other kids.  Some of the words are in Swahili, in case you were wondering what they were singing!

Sleep over at Pamma and Grandpa's

 Claire was so excited to have a sleep over in Long Grove.  The girls had a blast playing in the castle and sandbox, making cookies, and generally being crazy!

Fire station Fun!

Papo was volunteering at the fire station open house.  Matt took the girls and they all had fun. 

 Claire was the first kid of the day to blow the horn.  According to Papo, she started a trend and they had to endure horns honking for the next two hours!!  She also impressed the firefighters when they pulled out a stethoscope and asked if anyone knew what it was.  Claire answered correctly and score some high fives!

Throwing them into the tub is usually a good way to calm them down!  They are so cute together and Claire asked me to take their picture! Allie looks so incredibly grown up here! 

First day of Pre-School!

 We made it in 6 minutes!  Today was an introduction to the classroom, teacher and kids from 9 until 10.  The moms, dads and siblings got to stick around today.  Next week she will go for an hour by herself on Tuesday, followed by 2 hours on Thursday.  She will start going the full time (9am until noon T/TH) the week after next.

Museum of Science and Industry

We really enjoyed our day at Cayle, Cooper and Lyssie's favorite museum!  We went with our neighbor friends Alice and Louisa.
