In the video I'm reminded of how little Claire really is.  It was for girls entering 2nd grade thru 5th.

 The girls are taking ice skating lessons over summer, and Charlie is always a handful as I get them ready.  Helmets, gloves, snow pants for Allie, skates, Oh my!

Summer activities

Claire and Allie participated in Happy Hikers every Wednesday.  Claire did a week of cheerleading camp at the high school.  They did a few days at the art center in town for two hours in the afternoon.  They liked their fishing class, though in the four classes they said that no one ever caught a fish!  The girls were in ice skating once a week.  We got pool passes this year, but only went to the pool a few times and the splash pad a few times too.  Lesson learned for next year!  We went by Grammie and Papo's house once a week while the mom's went to Orange Theory Fitness!  The girls did a 4 day camp at Pamma's country club with their cousin William, which they loved.  We spent as much time as possible at the lake house.  We spent hours on our drive way eating popsicles, riding bikes, scooters, rollerblades, and drawing with chalk.  It was a very hot and humid summer!  The Colorado Fam came for a nice visit, as did Joan and Aunt Jenny.

School ended and we headed to Michigan the following day!  The weather was rainy and cold over that weekend, but we still had fun.  

The first night we got there was good though!

We're going to miss these snuggles and take them whenever we can!
