We left Belleville on Christmas Day and by the time we got to Mt. Prospect,  I was suffering from a sinus infection.  The kids had a blast but we had to leave early as I was feeling aweful.  It seems that one of us is always pretty sick on Christmas, but hopefully next year we will luck out!

 Family fun at the GG's house!  We has so much fun and it was awesome that the San Diego crew came in again this year!  It was also special to have Mary join the fun for her first Belleville Christmas!

Claire made this tree treat at Grace Preschool.  Sweetness overload!

 We usually get a real tree, however this month was crazy and we got a fake one!  I had to simplify considering I was so sick all month and dealing with feeling gross in my first trimester of pregnancy!

Claire's Gingerbread House

Last year, Claire and I started the gingerbread house tradition.  Once again she did a great job!  This beauty took about two hours to create!

Side of the house!  The kit comes with candy, but thanks to our Halloween candy stash, we always add a lot more!

Papo is 60!

We went out to Machu Piccho in Chicago to surprise Papo on his 60th birthday!  After a tasty Peruvian meal, we headed to Aunt Jilly's house for some cake and pie.  Here Papo is surrounded by his granddaughters!
